In 2012 I was part of the Royal County’s Young Writer’s Programme and I took my first solo show, Letter To The Man (from the boy), to the Edinburgh Fringe with support from Pilot Theatre.
Since 2012 I’ve been administrator for the National Association of Youth Theatre and written and delivered work for various Youth Theatres across the country.
In 2014 I founded Say Owt with Stu Freestone. It’s a sizzling spoken word and powerhouse poetry events-based organisation promoting performance. We started by putting on slams, in the city of York, and regularly started selling out. So we’ve branched out to promoting full length shows, open mics, workshops and scratch events.
In 2015 I was commissioned by Apples & Snakes to create a piece as part of their Public Address Tour.
Across 2015-2017 I took my solo shows, Up The Nerd Punks and Up The Nerd Punks 2 and Nerd Punks 3-D, to Edinburgh Fringe with PBH Free Fringe.
I’ve toured with Creative Arts East with Poet In A Pub, performed at Latitude, Galtres, Deer Shed, Rebellion, Boomtown Fair and the International Youth Arts Festival.
In 2017 I founded Vandal Factory Theatre Company and made Whatever Happened To Vandal Raptor? with Natalie Quatermass which toured the UK.
